I want to place an order but I don't have any ideas
Don't worry! Contact me with the details you do know and the rest we shall figure out together. The more details you can give me the better - perhaps their favourite colours or a little bit about the recipient so I can tailor the gift perfectly. I have lots and lots of ideas and can also work with lots more materials so am open to suggestions!
How much will my order cost?
As everything I make is bespoke I have decided to not put prices on this website. I endeavour to keep my costs as competitive as I can, but it depends on what you want. For example a little bird will be far cheaper than a feather cushion but I will let you know as soon as you contact me. I also give large discounts to those ordering more than one thing.
Like I say, a free no obligation quote, and I really mean that.
How long will my order take to make?
It's only me designing and hand making your gifts so it will depend on a number of things- how busy I am and also how large your order is - but my aim is to complete the majority of orders within 2 weeks of payment. I will be very transparent with my timings and let you know from the first contact. I am of course always up for a challenge so if you have less time do not fear- Occasionaly I have some ready made gifts which I am also willing to sell!
How will I recieve my order?
Your gift will arrive beautifully packaged and ready to be given to your loved one. I can send it directly to you or if you would prefer, your loved ones address. I am based in London but I am happy to send overseas. (Obviously postage and packaging will be charged accordingly.)
How do I pay?
I can take payment via bank transfer or if you would prefer you can pay me via paypal. The money will need to clear before I send the order out.
How Do I Order?
Simply fill in the Contact form or email me at thingsiliketomake@gmail.com with your name, contact details and an idea of what you would like including the occasion, who it's for, colours, size, budget and any other useful details that would help in designing your gift. I will aim to get back to you within 2 working days.
What happens once I've contacted you?
I always try to get back to you within 2 working days. At this point I shall send you an initial design and some pictures of fabrics. Once you have decided on your fabric and choice of design we agree a cost and I start making!
